Independent permission at the physical energy path

SafeBeam separates a request to move energy from the hardware authority that decides whether the physical path may be enabled.

System boundary

Software may request. The gate authorizes.

The SafeBeam permission layer is designed to remain distinct from the application, operator interface, or network requesting operation.

Required permissions and safety conditions enter an independent gate with direct authority over the controlled path. Within the demonstrated boundary, application software cannot unilaterally grant physical authorization.

This separation is the core architectural idea: permission is explicit, continuously qualified, and removable at the hardware control layer.

Authorization lifecycle

A deliberate path from request to safe state

Request

An operator or system asks for operation; the request is not itself authorization.

Qualify

The gate evaluates the permissions and bounded safety conditions required for the requested state.

Authorize

The physical path is enabled only when the defined requirements are satisfied.

Monitor

Required conditions continue to be evaluated while authorization is active.

Revoke

A withdrawn, lost, or invalid required condition removes authorization.

Return toward safe state

The controlled path is designed to move toward its defined non-transmitting or de-energized state.

Development platform

SafeBeam Gate

Development prototype

SafeBeam Gate is the current physical platform for developing and testing the permission model in industrial energy-control settings.

Prototype work combines direct physical gating, defined condition inputs, deliberate commissioning, status visibility, and event evidence.

The current program is intended to establish bounded technical evidence before production engineering, certification, or deployment claims are made.

Not claimed: certification, production qualification, universal fault coverage, or validation outside a documented test boundary.

Coordinated energy control

Local authority within a coordinated system

SafeBeam is extending the permission model across multiple energy nodes. The direction is coordinated authorization without surrendering each node's local hardware authority.

This work is in development. Protected architecture and implementation details are reserved for controlled technical discussions.

Evidence discipline

Claims should be no broader than the test.

Exact boundary

State the hardware, configuration, inputs, and conditions under which a result was observed.

Exact outcome

Report what occurred without converting a prototype result into a universal guarantee.

Explicit limitation

Identify what the test did not establish, including certification and production readiness.
